The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) and the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Crestview's volleyball squad nip Boardman by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Crestview upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Rebels host Salem (Salem, OH) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Magnificat for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Boardman will play a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 15-3.
