The Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) football defeated the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 39-14 in Monday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Miners face the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a bout, on Monday, October 16. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record.
The Golden Tornado (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Berkeley Springs was toppled by Hampshire (Romney, WV), 50-14, in a non-league bout.
