In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Chardon Hilltoppers.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
Next, the Hilltoppers encounter the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Chardon will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record.
