The Struthers Wildcats held off the visiting Columbiana Clippers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 11.
The Clippers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Springfield was nudged by East Palestine (East Palestine, OH), 2-0, in a non-league test.
