The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) softball the visiting Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA), 11-7 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (13-12) will now prepare for their bout against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 25-4 record. In their last bout, South Effingham held off Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 5-4, in a league bout.
The Indians now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Brantley County for a 2A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, October 10. Vidalia will confront a Herons squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Herons record now stands at 6-14.
