The Moore Lions (Moore, OK) softball routed the visiting Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK), 11-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Lions (31-6) will now prepare for their bout against Southmoore (Moore, OK). The SaberCats go into the non-league bout with a 21-15 record. In their last bout, Southmoore was routed by North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK), 11-4, in a non-league bout.
The Racers now possess a 33-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cache for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. Newcastle will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 35-12.
