In Monday's non-league contest, the Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) volleyball squad knocked off the host Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Mavericks battle the Seymour Eagles (Seymour, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Anderson County will attempt to better on its 28-11 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 19-14 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Alcoa (Alcoa, TN).

With the loss, Pigeon Forge drops to 8-14 on the campaign.
