The Villa Walsh Academy Vikings held off the host High Point Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parsippany for a Northwest New Jersey - Freedom test on Tuesday, October 10. Villa Walsh Academy will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ). The Redhawks record now stands at 9-6.
The Wildcats (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ). The Lakers enter the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Mountain Lakes was nudged by Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
