In Monday's non-league battle, the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Howard Tigers.

The Rebels (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD). The come into the battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Iroquois/Lake Preston lost by Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) in a B Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Howard will attempt to advance on its 6-18 season record. The Rustlers come into the battle with a 18-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD).
