Utah High School Football - Granger wallops Cyprus

October 9, 2024: West Valley City, UT 84119

The Granger Lancers football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Cyprus Pirates to 0 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lancers now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hunter for a 5A Region 4 test on Friday, October 18. Granger will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 42-14 league win over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Cyprus drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Pirates host Kearns (Kearns, UT) to meet the Cougars in a 5A Region 4 test on Friday, October 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-9. Kearns lost 48-0 in their recent league test against West Jordan (West Jordan, UT)
