In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Langley Saxons football squad scored a good 15-6 triumph over the Wakefield School Fighting Owls .
The Saxons (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Yorktown went down by Centreville (Clifton, VA), 31-8, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Fighting Owls confront the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Wakefield School will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Statesmen enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 26-0 non-league loss to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA).
