In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Patuxent Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Calverton .
The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Great Mills was edged by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 3-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the confront the Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) in a Maryland Independent Schools I outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Calverton will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Rockbridge Academy (Millersville, MD).
