Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) and the visiting Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ), saw DePaul Catholic's soccer squad triumph over Wayne Valley by a count of 6-1.

The Spartans (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Pope Francis Prep tipped Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 12. Wayne Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 3-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ).
