In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Squalicum Storm volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Bellingham Bayhawks.

The Storm (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood edged Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bayhawks meet the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Bellingham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA).
