In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Indian River Braves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Nansemond River Warriors.
The Braves (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Oscar Smith beat King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors play the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Nansemond River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
