In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Lynden Christian Lyncs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sehome Mariners.

The Lyncs (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Ferndale edged Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mariners meet the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Sehome will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA).
