In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Villa Madonna Vikings.
The Thoroughbreds (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.
Next, the Vikings meet the Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Villa Madonna will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
