In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Avon Old Farms Beavers.
The Hoggers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH). The Lions go into the NEPSAC Freelance outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Phillips Exeter Academy Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA), 1-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Beavers confront the South Kent School Cardinals (South Kent, CT) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 12. Avon Old Farms will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pennington (Pennington, NJ).
