Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Moorestown Quakers (Moorestown, NJ) and the host Cherry Hill West Lions (Cherry Hill, NJ), saw Moorestown's soccer squad hold off Cherry Hill West by a count of 2-1.

The Quakers (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Big Red enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Lawrenceville School was edged by The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ), 8-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 15. Cherry Hill West will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ).
