In Wednesday's league challenge, the host South River Seahawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Chesapeake Cougars.
The Seahawks (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Northern beat Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Chesapeake will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Milford Mill Academy (Baltimore, MD).
