In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Johnson Pumas volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions.

The Pumas (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hansberry (Chicago, IL). The Bengals come into the Noble Street challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Hansberry edged DRW College Prep (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Masai Lions play the Comer Catamounts (Chicago, IL) in a Noble Street challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Rowe-Clark will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
