The Northern Patriots prevailed the host Thomas Stone Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league game.
Next up, the Patriots confront the South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 10. Northern will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Seahawks enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD).
The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines enter the Southern Maryland game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Westlake was dropped by Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD), 3-0, in a league game.
