The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) and the host Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), witnessed Alameda's football squad wallop Mitchell by a tally of 48-0.

The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Titans go into the 2A Metro bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, The Classical Academy smashed Denver West (Denver, CO), 41-8, in a league bout.

The Marauders now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host D'Evelyn for a 2A Metro bout on Thursday, October 16. Mitchell will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lincoln (Denver, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.
