    The Edna Karr Cougars football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Brother Martin Crusaders to 13 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

    The Cougars now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jesuit for a 5A District 9 challenge on Friday, October 17. Edna Karr will face a Blue Jays team coming off a 46-23 league loss to St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 5-2.

    The Crusaders (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots enter the 5A District 9 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, John Curtis Christian bounced Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA), 21-13, in a league challenge.
