In Thursday's league match, the host Carroll County Panthers football squad scored a good 35-6 victory over the Pendleton County Wildcats.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Colonels go into the 3A District 5 battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Bourbon County was topped by Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY), 22-20, in a league battle.
The Wildcats now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Henry County for a 3A District 5 battle on Friday, October 17. Pendleton County will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 41-6 league loss to Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
