California High School Football - Leigh falls to Christopher

October 9, 2025: San Jose, CA 95124

The Christopher Cougars felled the host Leigh Longhorns football team by a score of 27-17 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) in a Mount Hamilton challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Christopher will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Bruins go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 35-25 league loss to Lincoln (San Jose, CA).

The Longhorns (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Saints go into the Mount Hamilton challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Santa Teresa toppled Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA), 49-35, in a league challenge.
