The Mildred Eagles football team (Corsicana, TX), dropped 32-6 in Thursday's league bout with the host Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX)

With the win, Frankston advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Kerens (Kerens, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 bout on Friday, October 17. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Kerens won 46-0 in their recent league bout against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX)

The Eagles now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cayuga for a 2A-1 Region II District 8 contest on Friday, October 17. Mildred will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-7 league loss to Carlisle (Price, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
