In Thursday's league game, the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) football team overcame the visiting Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), by a margin of 48-17.

The Raccoons now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakeland for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 outing on Thursday, October 16. Frisco will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 45-0 league win over Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-0.

The Bearcats (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A-1 Region II District 5 game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Lone Star notched a victory over Frisco (Frisco, TX), 55-35, in a league game.
