The Griffin Bears walloped the visiting Northside Patriots football team by a score of 60-14 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears play the Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Griffin will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 49-0 league win over Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA).
With the defeat, Northside drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA) to meet the Panthers in a AAAA Region 3 test on Thursday, October 16. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-6. Starr's Mill won 14-12 in their recent league test against Harris County (Hamilton, GA)
