The Riverdale Rebels got by the visiting John Ehret Patriots football team by a score of 14-7 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels face the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA) in a 5A District 10 test, on Thursday, October 16. Riverdale will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 14-12 league win over West Jefferson (Harvey, LA).
With the defeat, John Ehret drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Bonnabel (Kenner, LA) to face the Bruins in a 5A District 10 challenge on Friday, October 17. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Bonnabel won 67-0 in their recent league challenge against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA)
