The Kasson-Mantorville Komets football squad scored 29 points and limited the visiting Winona Winhawks to 14 in the Komets league triumph on Thursday.

The Komets now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anthony Village for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. Kasson-Mantorville will face a Huskies team coming off a 36-0 non-league loss to Blake/Hope Academy/Minnehaha Academy/St. Paul Academy-Summit (Minneapolis, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 2-5.

The Winhawks (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Century (Rochester, MN). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Century fell by Northfield (Northfield, MN), 28-6, in a league game.
