Oklahoma High School Football - McLoud can't hold off Victory Christian

Victory Christian Conquerors (Tulsa, OK) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK), 33-30 in a league match.

The Conquerors (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK). The Demons go into the 3A District 2 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Perkins-Tryon nipped Seminole (Seminole, OK), 63-28, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Redskins meet the Seminole Chieftains (Seminole, OK) in a 3A District 2 match, on Thursday, October 16. McLoud will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Chieftains come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 63-28 league loss to Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK).
