California High School Football - Royal thwarted by Buena

Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA), 26-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Buena advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Del Sol (Oxnard, CA) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league match on Thursday, October 16. The Jaguars come into the match with a record of 0-2. Del Sol lost 50-0 in their recent non-league match against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA)

Coming up next, the Highlanders meet the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) in a match, on Thursday, October 16. Royal will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 20-14 league loss to Moorpark (Moorpark, CA).
