In their next game, the Lions face the La Salle College Explorers (Wyndmoor, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Cardinal O'Hara will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Explorers enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 7-0 league win over Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA).

The Crusaders (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA). The Cahillite enter the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Roman Catholic was knocked off by St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA), 26-6, in a non-league outing.
