In Thursday's non-league match, the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls football squad scored a good 28-20 triumph over the Clovis Wildcats.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Artesia was beaten by Roswell (Roswell, NM), 73-54, in a non-league match.
