The Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) football trounced the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 40-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Hawks now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Centennial will face a Knights team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
The Fighting Colts (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
