The Woodson Cavaliers football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins to 20 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. Woodson will face a Stallions team coming off a 32-14 non-league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 3-2.
The Bruins (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, West Potomac held off Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 40-0, in a non-league outing.
