Arizona High School Flag Football - Mohave trounced by Coconino

The Mohave Thunderbirds flag football team (Bullhead City, AZ), was crushed 52-7 in Thursday's league bout with the host Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ)

With the win, Coconino betters its record to 6-1 on the year. The Panthers host Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 14. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 6-0. Mesquite won 31-7 in their recent non-league contest against ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds battle the Bradshaw Mountain Bears (Prescott Valley, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon bout, on Tuesday, October 14. Mohave will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 28-0 league loss to Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ).
