Arizona High School Flag Football - Desert Edge prevails Willow Canyon

In Thursday's league match, the host Desert Edge Scorpions flag football squad scored a good 28-17 triumph over the Willow Canyon Wildcats.

The Scorpions (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Arizona College Prep was dropped by Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ), 13-0, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Vipers go into the 5A Northwest Valley challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Verrado toppled Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ), 71-0, in a league challenge.
