Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), 12-7 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Greenbrier upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to confront the Titans in a non-league match on Thursday, October 16. The Titans come into the match with a record of 4-0. North Oconee won 35-7 in their recent non-league match against Paulding County (Dallas, GA)

The Greyhounds now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Milton for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. Pope will play a Eagles team coming off a 25-9 non-league win over Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
