Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) and the host Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), saw Albany's soccer squad triumph over Schenectady by a score of 9-0.

The Falcons (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Golden Knights come into the Suburban Council- Blue test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Averill Park was overwhelmed by Columbia (East Greenbush, NY), 3-0, in a league test.

The Patriots now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Troy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. Schenectady will meet a Flying Horses team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Cohoes (Cohoes, NY). The Flying Horses record now stands at 2-11.
