In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Lions (Sparta, NJ), by a margin of 7-3.
The Tigers now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Academy of St. Elizabeth for a Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge on Saturday, October 11.
With the loss, Veritas Christian Academy moves to 5-5 on the year. The Lions host King's Christian (Cherry Hill, NJ) to encounter the Knights in a Jersey United challenge on Friday, October 10. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 12-0. King's Christian 1-1 in their recent league battle against The Pilgrim Academy (Egg Harbor City, NJ)
