Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) and the visiting National Cathedral (Washington, DC), saw Maret's soccer squad prevail over National Cathedral by a score of 5-1.

The Frogs (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The Gators enter the ISL battle with a 4-2 record.

In their next game, the clash with the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a ISL test, on Wednesday, October 15. National Cathedral will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).
