Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mount View moves its record to 1-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Mount Abram (Strong, ME) to clash with the Roadrunners in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Roadrunners come into the test with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) in a Class B - North outing, on Saturday, October 11. Nokomis will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME).
