In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Apex Cougars football team scored a tight 21-14 win over the Willow Spring Storm.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Apex will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Gators go into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 47-0 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
The Storm (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Green Hope nipped Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 30-14, in a non-league challenge.
