Spectators at Thursday's non-league bout between the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) and the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), saw Clinton's football team gain a win over South Lenoir by a final score of 28-0.
The Dark Horses (4-3) will now prepare for their match against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, East Duplin thwarted Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC), 25-12, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 16. South Lenoir will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
