In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Irvin Rockets football squad scored a good 34-14 triumph over the Mountain View Lobos.
The Rockets (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Austin went down by Clint (Clint, TX), 41-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Lobos play the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 40-0 non-league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX).
