Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), 47-0 in a non-league battle.

The Bruins (4-0) will now prepare for their match against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, West Potomac was routed by Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 6-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers meet the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 16. Woodson will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Stallions go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 33-18 non-league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
