The Vista del Lago Ravens football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Rancho Verde Mustangs to 26 in the Ravens non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Ravens now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Vista for a test on Wednesday, October 15. Vista del Lago will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 33-18 league loss to Liberty (Winchester, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-6.

The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Paloma Valley was edged by Orange Vista (Perris, CA), 32-20, in a league challenge.
