The Scotland Fighting Scots were victorious over the host Terry Sanford Bulldogs football team by a score of 29-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Scots face the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Scotland will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 30-0 non-league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Lumberton topped Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 54-0, in a non-league test.
